  • This is my 7th year teaching piano. I have experience teaching beginners (before Grade 1), as well as teaching students taking Grades 1-5. My students range from 5 years old to adult learners.

  • For me, playing the piano gives me joy, but teaching people how to play music is priceless. I love sharing the joy of music with my students, by helping them to not only pass their exams, but also learn composition, and playing songs in pop and jazz styles. 

  • Some of my students have achieved Distinctions in their ABRSM theory Grade 5 and practical exams, and have also passed their Grade 7 practical exams. Most of them can improvise their own music using chord progressions and have fun expressing themselves on the piano.

  • Ms. Florence Pau has 6 years of experience teaching in her home studio and at students' place. She has taught 10 students with ages ranging from 5 to 40. Her students have achieved 100% passing rate in ABRSM piano exams and more than 30% of them obtained distinction in both theory and practical exams.

  • She started playing the piano at 5 years old. She has developed a strong passion for music. She loves teaching piano because she gets to motivate students to unleash their potential for music. Seeing their improvements is the largest joy in teaching. She would first understand the goals of the parents and the students, whether learning to play the piano is an interest for leisure or whether there is a genuine interest in playing music and learning more about music history.

  • Ms. Florence organize a music performance at her home studio every six months, in order to provide opportunities for her students to appreciate and learn from their peers. In addition, this also helps to overcome stage fright, ensuring them to be well-prepared for their piano exams. 

  • Besides that, she works with her friends who are also teaching and they like to give our students mock examination before their ABRSM exam so that our students will be well-prepared for their examinations.
